Mostly Harmless

I was waiting for this response from FEMA. They had a bogus press conference with no press. That did not stop FEMA from pretending that their staffers were reporters. George Orwell would be so impressed.

Read this on the Internet today:

“Specifically, FEMA is authorized to identify, mobilize, and provide at its discretion, equipment and resources necessary to alleviate the impacts of the emergency. Emergency protective measures, including direct Federal assistance, will be provided at 75 percent Federal funding.”

California is in for a real disaster now. As if the wildfires were not enough.
